Got a tropical trip coming up but feeling a little rusty? Spend a couple hours in our heated pool with one of our dive professionals who will inspect your gear for you, reacquaint you with gear assembly and care, and go over the the most important scuba sills such as mask clearing, buoyancy control, and emergency procedures. The course is perfect for the vacationing once-a-year diver. Some people do it before each trip. Pool refreshers join the first part of an open water course. All the gear you need is provided, however it is strongly recommended scuba divers own their own mask and fins.
Option 1: Pool Refresher
Ideal for warm water divers who dive once or twice a year and have a trip coming up. We have many divers take this every year before their big dive trip.
Course length: 2-3 hours but it's kind of up to you. We cover equipment set up, mask clearing, out of air emergencies, and bouyancy practice with free practice time at the end. This course is run concurrently with the first section of the open course.
This method has two options, group ($179) and private ($299). All gear is included if needed but it is highly recommended you have or buy your own personal gear (mask, snorkel, booties, and fins).
Pool Refresher Group Class Dates
2019 Available Dates

Saturday March 2nd
Saturday March 9th
Classes typically start at 9am but are subject to change depending on pool availability.
Please download and read the PADI Medical Waiver to determine if you need to have a doctor sign you off prior to participating in SCUBA activities.
Add PADI ReActivate to refresh academic concepts. (computer/tablet academics refresher)
PADI ReActivate is an ideal add on for warm water divers who dive once or twice a year and have a trip coming up or perhaps have taken a few years off from diving. You will receive a new C-card with your "ReActivated" date on it so it is also great for people who have lost their PADI certification cards. ReActivate is a $69.95 add-on to option 1 above. (Available only to divers certified through PADI)
Option 2: A full PADI Open Water Course audit.
Have only a few dives and haven't dived for years? You may want to consider an audit of an entire PADI Open Water Course just as if you are a student. Ideal for certified divers who have taken several years off of diving or had very few dives to begin with. You will join an Open Water Course and attend each pool and open water dive as if you were a new student. This is essentially just a discounted Open Water Course since you will not need to be issued a new card at the end of the class. (Though we can. Replacement PADI cards are $39.95) You may borrow a PADI Open Water Manual and DVD for free from our library to review before class if you wish.
See our PADI Open Water Course page for dates.
